I Did A Thing!!

I’ve been hinting at something big that’s coming, and guess what? TODAY’S THE DAY!!!

If you’ve been following me, you know that I’ve been writing stories for my website, peaceloveandgrandbabies.com for almost two years now. That’s pretty exciting all on its own! But when I very first started this journey, a lot of people asked, “So what are you going to do with these stories?”

I’ve always dreamed of writing a book; something solid that you can hold in your hands. A book filled with stories from my heart. So that’s exactly what I did!! I’ve been working on this for about a year and I’m so happy and excited to share with you that my project of love is finally ready to be shared with the world!

“Peace, Love, and Grandbabies. 40 Days of Stories to Encourage, Inspire, & Uplift” is now available exclusively from amazon.com! It’s a compilation and reworking of some of the stories from my website laid out as a 40 day devotional. It’s not meant to replace your time reading God’s word, the Bible. It’s meant to supplement your daily walk as you journey closer and closer to Jesus.

Why 40 days, you may ask? As I prayed about how to share these stories, God kept bringing to mind the different ways He has used 40 days to teach and direct His children. Noah and his family had to sit in a very full boat as it rained for 40 days and 40 nights as God brought His judgement on a wicked world.

Moses spent 40 days talking face to face with God on the mountain as He taught him how to lead this rag tag group of people that would be God’s mighty nation of Israel. Elijah was ready to call it quits. He was the last prophet standing and felt like he failed both God and His chosen people. But God sent him an angel to encourage him and then sent him on a journey through the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights so God could do His work on Elijah’s heart.

Even Jesus spent 40 days in the desert as He prepared for the ministry God called Him to. If the Son of God took 40 days to focus, prepare and get closer to His heavenly Father, I figured we should follow His example!

I encourage you to purchase a book for yourself and for someone you’ve been praying for that needs to know more about Jesus. My stories are simple and come from a place that I pray will help you see Jesus in the world He created as well as share His love with the people He puts in your path.
